Working in Montréal today --Zombie Royale

Good morning folks,

I am working In Montréal today.

My brain waves are a bit on low tide this A.M., worked a bit too late last night, so not much in the witty repartee department.

However, on the rather bizarre front, Newsweek features Princess Diana at 50 on the cover.  Diana is wearing a cream coloured dress and a hat that looks like a hubcap from a 1958 Edsel and while her complexion is near flawless she is sporting some crows feet as she enters middle age..  Oh wait.. isn't she dead?
If this wasn't odd enough, she is pictured walking down some urban street along side Kate Middleton, the daughter-in-law that she never met.

Just downright creepy if you ask me.

Have a good day, keep a look out for the walking dead.

Working in Ottawa today --BBQ Penguin

Good morning folks,

I will be working in Ottawa today.

There could be many things to comment on this morning, hockey thugs in Vancouver, Afghanistan, our odd involvement in Libya --don't get me wrong Colonel K is no friend of mine but I am not sure about the legality of bombing a sovereign nation to help out some revolutionaries that our current laws define as terrorists.  Have we declared war with Libya?

But one item shines out from the back pages. An Emperor Penguin has reportedly shown up on New Zealand's North Island, some 3200 kilometers from Antarctica.  The last time a penguin was seen there was some 44 years ago.

An excellent demonstration of what can be accomplished by a motivated individual.  Shame that my first thought was "What do you suppose barbecued penguin tastes like?".
